I picked up the board this weekend and I got straight on it and managed to skate all the way to Catford and back to Brockley which is about 2 to 3 miles. It's the coolest board! It's great on accelleration and the brakes are spot on especially down a steep hill. I also managed to get it up a steep hillside road that is probably about 35 degrees. I wasn't sure if it would make it but it did, so I'm really impressed with that.

"It's amazing! Straight out the box, I was too excited to read the instructions about the remote but once I pointed it properly I was amazed. It's a great design and a buzz to ride. I can't find the words to describe. Just wicked!  Thanks very much. The beeps for battery level are very clever.


I thought the short board design would go unnoticed but you were right, when you roll up a hill people turn their heads. I have to try and stop 'flipping the bird' when a car honks its horn. It's a reflex reaction to annoying drivers but they are honking because they are confused about what they are seeing. Sometimes there are kids in the car and they look very confused and shocked.

The wheels are fantastic. I was always a fan of slightly larger wheels than the 'onions' I have on my push board. They can handle small bits of road grit and rough roads, and great when pushing though a carve. The board turns very well and flicking the nose around isn't impossible, as is with the long boards, and that's helped me from avoiding collisions.

All in all fast enough and light enough to to make my heart beat a little faster.

Congratulations Ilan! You have created the most satisfying product I have experienced in a long time.

"Started the day by being a little late � no problem, hopped on my board and was at my desk 10 minutes later.

During the morning I had to visit Maya�s [his daughter] preschool � no problem, one board ride (5 minutes) and I was there, checking that everything is ok , and 5 minutes later back and my desk.
